Warpath Rambles..

  1. TORAH Lesson BY Yeshua (Jesus) Comments by my dad.

First up I would like to bring about a premise. That is that Elohim (God) is to be found as the one that is true over any man. We can refer to this reference below for that foundation.

I also bring about the premise that our Messiah Yeshua and his word is over any man.

Rom 3:4  God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

In saying this I believe that all scripture lines up with all other scripture. Where clear meaning is given takes precedence over loose interpretation to fit one’s own ideas.

With that being said let’s get down to some juicy stuff.

Here is a Teaching on What the Messiah has to say about the Torah!

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

We clearly see from verse 19 that I am teaching you about the commandments of Elohim and do them will be called great in the kingdom of Heaven (This is me).

Whoever breaks the least one of the commandment, and teach men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven (Could be You!). I desire that the word of our Messiah will change your mind and heart if this be the case.

Most of us have been taught or reasoned that somehow these verses show that the law has been done away with and that Jesus did it…

That is very far from the truth. If we examine very closely what our savior is really trying to say here we can come to a very different conclusion….

First in verse 18 Yeshua (Jesus) says very clearly that not even one jot or tittle shall pass until (at least until) heaven and earth pass away. NEWS FLASH Heaven and earth are still here!

on a side note the Jots and Tittles are not translated into our English bibles… The Jots are small dots that are over the top of certain words… While the tittles are certain letters in Hebrew that are sometimes very small or stretched or very large… And they emphasize certain things…

in verse 19 Yeshua says that whosoever (this covers the same whosoevers that will come to him) shall break one of the least of the commandments and teach men to break them also (jeez most churches teach against these commandments) will be called least in the kingdom…
The Whosoever that shall do them and teach them Shall be called Great in the kingdom.

All I can say is that for me I want to be doing what my Father in heaven thinks is great, not least and listen to God rather than listen to men.

Very clearly in verse 17 Yeshua gives us a commandment… Very specifically he says that we should “Think not that I have come to destroy the law”
Most of us have broken that commandment and thought that very thing… Let’s obey him and not think such anymore!

Now we are taught that he fulfilled the law and the prophets also… But let’s take a look at the Greek word that was translated as fulfil.

    G4137
    πληρόω
    plēroō
    play-ro’-o
From G4134; to make replete, that is, (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.: - accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

While most preachers and modern churches use only the meaning “finish” from the above word… The plain text of what our Savior has to say makes that use completely out of place… As a matter of fact I will show from the scriptures that the messiah has not finished the law and the prophets or accomplished them yet… But first we need to use the correct meaning from the above definition…

so let’s try some different examples

    1. I am not come to destroy, but to satisfy. He did satisfy the law being the only person to not break the Torah.

    2. I am not come to destroy, but to verify. He did verify the importance of the Torah!

    3. I am not come to destroy, but to fully preach. This Yeshua did very strongly!

While Yeshua clearly states even in verse 18 that heaven and earth will have to pass away before there is even a possibility of the torah missing even a jot or tittle… It also states that all the Torah (law) must be fulfilled too.

It is very Very clear that Yeshua did not fulfil all of the law and prophets.

Here is one good example for us new covenant bretheren….

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Now we are taught that we are living in the “New Covenant” now or “New Testament” times…. But according to these verses, it is very clear that while we are taught that we have this covenant, we clearly don’t have the results of this covenant.

    1. The new covenant is for the house of Israel and the House of Judah. (The churches teach Israel is done away with)
    2. I will put my Torah (law) on their inward parts. (We have been taught to reject his Torah, certainly not keeping it in our hearts)
    3. They shall no more teach saying, “Know the Lord”. (We are taught we must teach everyone about “Lord” Jesus).

We can clearly see that this prophecy has not taken place yet. Granted Yeshua provided the blood for the covenant… This covenant is still future! And I look forward to it!

There are numerous examples of prophecy that still needs fulfilled… But this will at least open some eyes to what the Word has to say…
    God Bless!
